
Kristina Gawrgy
Vice President for Communications
Kristina Gawrgy is the Vice President for Communications at Resources of the Future (RFF), an independent, nonprofit research institution working on advancing a healthy environment and thriving economy. There she leads the external and internal communications, marketing, and events strategy on behalf of the organization. Prior to her time at RFF, Kristina was the chief communications and community building officer at Independent Sector. In this role, Kristina led strategic communications and marketing, community building and engagement, and digital innovation efforts. Previously, Kristina served as director of communications at Parkinson’s Action Network, now part of the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. She has also worked in policy communication, marketing, and membership engagement efforts at National Association for the Education of Young Children and was a local reporter at the Gazette in Montgomery County, Maryland.
