Environmental Justice in Regulatory Decisionmaking
A webinar featuring industry experts discussing opportunities for advancing environmental justice within underserved communities through regulatory guidance.
Event Details
As the Biden administration continues to examine opportunities for advancing environmental justice, regulatory guidance has been issued to federal agencies to ensure that government initiatives appropriately benefit communities that may be disadvantaged, marginalized, or otherwise vulnerable.
On Monday, October 28, Resources for the Future (RFF) hosted “Environmental Justice in Regulatory Decisionmaking,” a virtual workshop featuring conversation from RFF scholars and environmental justice specialists, including EPA staffers. Together, they examined potential revisions to EPA Guidance and OMB’s Circular A-4 and both opportunities and challenges in advancing future work in this area.
