PROFILE
Jhih-Shyang Shih's research interests lie in quantitative analysis of environmental and resource policy and decisionmaking. He has extensive experience with modeling to study air quality, risk, surface water and solid waste management, and has studied the costs of environmental protection, technology adoption, and renewable energy. Shih's recent research has focused on ozone and PM control, recycling, small water systems and space solar power. His articles have appeared in such publications as the Review of Economics and Statistics, the Journal of Hazardous Materials, the Journal of Water Resources Planning and Management, and the European Journal of Operational Research.
